Samantha Martin

Bio:

Samantha’s practice focuses on developing and implementing strategic initiatives to advance and promote Cleary Gottlieb’s restructuring practice.

Samantha currently serves as an At Large Director for the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) and as the Newsletter Editor for the American Bankruptcy Institute’s (ABI) Unsecured Trade Creditors Committee.

Prior to 2023, Samantha was Of Counsel in the bankruptcy and restructuring group of a large international law firm where her practice focused on the representation of debtors, official committees of unsecured creditors, ad hoc groups of bondholders and lenders, individual creditors, purchasers, and liquidating trustees in all aspects of complex corporate restructurings, including chapter 11 cases and out-of-court transactions.
