Robert Kovacs
Bio:
Robert is an Australian lawyer. He holds an LLB (Hons.) and BCom from Monash University and a PhD (summa cum laude) from the University of Geneva.
Robert advises companies and sovereign States on wide range of contentious and non-contentious public and private international law matters, including the protection of foreign investments under international investment treaties and the enforcement of arbitration awards.
Prior to joining us, Robert was an associate in the arbitration group of a UK "Magic Circle" law firm and worked as a legal assistant to a prominent international arbitrator. Robert has also had numerous appointments as tribunal secretary on a range of international arbitration proceedings administered under the ICC, ICSID, SIAC, HKIAC and UNCITRAL Rules. In addition to publishing extensively in the field of international arbitration, Robert has worked as a research fellow at the University of Geneva, tutored in international arbitration advocacy and lectured for the Swiss International Law School.
