Bio:
Natasha MacParland is a partner in Davies' Financial Restructuring & Insolvency practice. She is a skilled corporate commercial lawyer with wide-ranging litigation experience and regularly leads complex, high-profile restructuring mandates, often with cross-border elements. Natasha advises on all aspects of debt restructuring, bankruptcy and insolvency, corporate debtor/creditor rights enforcement, turnarounds, workouts, and plans of arrangement under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act. Clients routinely consult her for strategic advice and risk analysis on deal structuring and lending, and for specialized counsel on innovative distressed acquisitions and financings.
Natasha co-authors a regular column in Rebuilding Success magazine on important insolvency decisions and Davies' Restructuring Review, a quarterly report on key trends and developments. An active member of the International Insolvency Institute and Insolvency Institute of Canada where Natasha serves on the IIC Board of Directors. Natasha is a guest lecturer at Osgoode Hall Law School, the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University.
