Alexandra Bigot
Bio:
Alexandra Bigot is a partner in the Business Reorganization & Restructuring Department, a position she has held since 2003. Alexandra is regularly involved in out-of-court and cross-border restructuring matters on behalf of debtors, sponsors and hedge funds, especially with respect to troubled leveraged buyout (LBO) cases (including loan-to-own strategies) and sales of underperforming or distressed branches of international groups. She also advises investors (corporate investors, hedge funds and recovery funds) seeking investment opportunities in insolvency proceedings and out-of-court restructuring cases. Alexandra has significant previous experience advising private equity funds in LBO acquisitions with regard to corporate, finance and tax matters. She also gained specific experience as a former private equity investor at Lazard.
